Pain and Trigger Point Therapy

Back to Bodywork List

All I want to know is, “Can I get out of muscle pain?”

Probably.

ShoulderReleaseThe trigger point is the point that causes the muscle pain, though the pain may be felt much farther away from the cause. In pain and trigger point therapy we discuss your pain areas and the cause of the pain using a Trigger Point Flip Chart, pictured below -left illustration.

The treatment may be a combination of massage therapy, stretching, and micro-current eStim.  These black, hand-held tools, pictured to the left,  have a brass tip that touches the the skin and briefly held while a gentle pulse targets the trigger point.  This small MPS tool (micro-current point stimulator) actually stimulates the nerve to heal, not temporarily block pain.  It’s a micro current, so it ‘s a tiny current, not painful.  Many times the results are experienced immediately.  However, some people experience pain reduction following treatment up to 48 hours of continued improvement.

This therapy usually adds 15 minutes to a massage or you can request this therapy for a half hour session.  Calm Relief can help you decide which therapy may suit your needs

No pain relief is guaranteed, because pain can have many causes. Please note: Massage therapy is no substitute for a doctor.

When a trigger point is the cause of pain, the proven history of results with this treatment is nothing less than amazing! See pricing BOOK NOW button home page.
